Hello and welcome to my site for Commercial, Corporate, Architectural and Portrait Photography.

I’m absolutely passionate about photography and have been working as a professional photographer for over twenty five years.

I’m a long standing member of The Association of Photographers, and in 2018 I was a winner of the prestigious Portrait of Britain Award.

I believe the key to a great photograph (as opposed to an average one) is the ability to ‘see’, and that’s something you can’t buy from a camera shop! Along with a vivid imagination, I was born with a photographers eye and even as a small child saw the world as a visual story. My particular ‘eye’ has been further honed from experience and I’ve spent thirty years fine tuning my craft, including a thorough knowledge and understanding of the importance of light, attention to detail and planning. I’m a fast and meticulous worker, but am able to put even the most reluctant portrait sitter at their ease. Even within the given usual short time frame, I pride myself on being able to build a rapport, and actually get the sitter to enjoy being part of the process of making a portrait of themselves… because that element of ‘something of themselves’ is the difference between a snapshot and a portrait…

Client’s include Royal Mail, British Telecom, Proctor and Gamble, AmsProp, JAMS International, Canon UK, Kellogg’s, Financial Times & Nikon, but what ever the assignment, from a full advertising campaign to a single portrait, you can be sure I will bring my enthusiasm, experience and my afore mentioned ‘photographer’s eye’ to ensure your commission is fulfilled with distinction and style.
